Tecolote Farm has lots of fresh edamame (soy beans) right now...I don't know if you have ever tried them, but they are delicious. Their cucamelons, or Italian heirloom cucumbers, are very crispy and tasty. Who else has cucumbers this time of year? Tecolote also has many varieties of peppers, eggplant, winter squash, cantaloupes, melons, sorrel, basil, garlic chives, flat-leaf parsley, and swiss chard. We have a new vendor, PopSoCool, who is offering delicious frozen fruit and juice bars - a contemporary twist on the traditional Mexican treat. Sesa Tea has added a variety of delicious refreshing drinks to their menu. As usual our farmers will have the best of field, pasture, and orchard, and our specialty kitchens will offer you tasty, healthy and unique foods from around the world. Dan at Love Creek Orchard reports that he’s still harvesting figs, and his apples are absolutely delicious this year. He will have fresh apple cider available. Come early and pick up breakfast (remember to try the delicious breakfast tacos from Living Arts Bakery) to enjoy at our open-air café while you listen to the music of Jimmy Joe Natoli. Bring the kids, let Casey paint their faces and then take them over to the Moon Walk. Don’t forget to check out our craft vendors; their offerings will charm you whether it’s an item for yourself, or a thoughtful gift for a loved one. Please do not speed in Sunset Valley and do not leave your pets in your car! We have already had a couple of very hot pets!
